Our course covers the safe transport and handling of all classes of Dangerous Goods by Air, including the identification, classification, packaging, labeling, documentation, and emergency procedures for substances regulated under IATA’s Dangerous Goods Regulations.
Our Introduction to Dangerous Goods for Cargo Agents training is for employees who are involved in the processing and acceptance of general cargo shipments for air transport. The course complies with IATA certification requirements under 7.2A Personnel Responsible for Processing or Accepting Goods Presented as General Cargo. The certificate can be presented to IATA as evidence of completion for your IATA Cargo Agent approval. The course concludes with an adjudicated test
Successful candidates receive a qualification certificate, valid for two years, after which they must re-validate their qualification.
Access to the current IATA regulations is required; this can be purchased along with the course.
