This course is for any shipper or forwarder that works in an environment sending Radioactive Materials. This course is also a pre-requisite course for the Radioactive Certification for other modes of transport.
Candidates receive a Radioactive Awareness knowledge certificate. We recommend reviewing every 2 years, if you do not hold a valid Radioactive transport certification.
Course Objectives:
• Identify the regulatory parties involved in the transport of radioactive materials.
• Correctly identify Radiocative Charectistics and Terminology.
• Review the basics of the Radioactive Protection program
